After breakfast, meet your fellow tour companions and spend the day exploring the highlights of Tokyo!
This morning you will head to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office Building as well as taking a visit to Meiji Jingu Shrine, which is a shrine dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji .
Afterwards, drive by Harajuku and visit Imperial Palace Plaza which is located on the former site of Edo Castle and is the residence of Japan’s Imperial family.
In the afternoon, head to the old downtown area of Asakusa for Senso-ji Temple Tokyo’s oldest temple, and enjoy some shopping at Nakamise Shopping Street before returning to your hotel.

Today is a whole day free at leisure to explore the bustling city of Tokyo or alternatively you may like to head to Nikko to see Nikko Toshogu Shine via a 1 day tour for an additional cost.

After breakfast, ensure to bring a small bag for your 2 night stay in Hakone and Hiroshima as your main suitcase will be transferred directly from Tokyo to your hotel in Kyoto. 
Travel by coach to Kamakura, to see a The Great Buddha which is 11.4 meters high at Kotoku-in Temple, it is second tallest bronze Buddha statue in Japan as well as visiting Hase-kannon Temple. 
Afterwards, drive to Hakone to take a sightseeing cruise on Lake Ashi. The view of Mt. Fuji that can be seen in the background on a clear day from Lake Ashi is iconic. The final spot for the day is Owakudani, the area around a crater created during the last eruption of Mt. Hakone some 3,000 years ago.
After the tour, transfer to your accommodation (Ryokan) in Hakone to enjoy a Japanese dinner and an evening of relaxation at the Onsen "Hot Spring".

After breakfast, transfer to Odawara Station to board the bullet train to Okayama. Upon arrival at Okayama, visit Okayama Korakuen Garden by public transport before taking the bullet train from Okayama to Hiroshima.
You will arrive to Hiroshima in the late afternoon and proceed to your accommodation on foot.

Hiroshima - Miyajima - Kyoto (B)

Day 6

Hiroshima - Miyajima - Kyoto (B)

After breakfast, enjoy a day tour of Hiroshima and Miyajima Island. Visit the Peace Memorial Park and Museum the international symbol of peace, and the Atomic Bomb Dome.
Afterwards, head to the Itsukushima Shrine located on Miyajima Island to see the truly breathtaking site of the bright orange Great Torii gate in the blue sea. You will then return back to Hiroshima and take the bullet train from Hiroshima to Kyoto.
Upon arrival in Kyoto make your way to your accommodation on foot and the rest of the evening is at leisure.

Have breakfast at your hotel before enjoying a full day tour of Kyoto. This morning visit Kinkaku-ji Temple, known as the Golden Pavilion before heading to Ryoan-ji Temple to admire the peaceful rock garden.
You will also stroll around Gion Town an experience a Japanese Tea Ceremony if you are lucky you may glimpse a Maiko before taking a look at Nishiki Ichiba Market, known as “Kyoto Kitchen” almost everything sold at the market is locally produced and procured.
You will arrive back to your hotel in the late evening and the rest of the night is at leisure.

Today is a whole day free at leisure to explore the culture of Kyoto or you may like add a day tour to Fushimi Inari Shrine or Sagano Bamboo Grove for an additional cost.

Day 9

After breakfast enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour in Nara to visit Todai-ji Temple, which is a Historic Monument of Ancient Nara and is known for its great Buddha Hall. In Nara Park, you can see and interact with the friendly free roaming deer, before heading to Kasuga-taisha Shrine. 
In the afternoon you will head to Osaka and visit Osaka Castle which is surrounded by secondary citadels, gates, turrets, impressive stone walls and moats.
You will arrive at your hotel in the late evening and the rest of the night is at leisure where we recommend to visit Dontonbori for some shopping and local food.

Today is at leisure until you need to head to the airport for your departure flight.
To reach the airport you will need to take an Airport Limousine Bus from the Bus Terminal at Herbis Osaka which can be accessed on foot or by taxi from your hotel.
