The trip of a lifetime! Dogashima’s wonderful nature and relaxing hot spring, breathtaking view from the Ashinoko Skyline and Mount Fuji, the symbol of Japan, will be some of the main attractions you will be joining on your Ducati. This tour is specifically made not only to let you enjoy Ducati motorcycle touring in Japan, but also some unique pieces of Japanese culture as well. You of course will enjoy classic Japanese pattern like hot spring’s relaxing water and made fresh sashimi, but you will also be able to try the uncommon experience of wasabi’s harvest on an authentic Japanese wasabi field. You will be also enjoying some of the greatest historic treasures Japan can offer you, like the Owakudani valley or the unique Oshino Hakkai. And then, the road: Izu Skyline’s curves, the Kawazu Nanadaru Bridge’s astonishing loop and the romantic ocean view on the Bay Bridge. By riding in this tour, you will understand the uniqueness of Ducati motorcycle touring in the Land of the Rising Sun.

Day 1 Yokohama → Shibukawa → Kusatsu

Yokohama → Shibukawa → Kusatsu

Today you will ride from Yokohama through to Kusatsu. After picking up your bike from the Yokohama Store, your journey will start in one of the three most popular hot spring resorts in the country: the ancient and warming Kusatsu city. Located in Gunma Prefecture, it is the third most popular hot spring area in Japan, 1200 meters above sea altitude. It is also a mountainous popular skiing area in winter and hiking spot during the warmer seasons. The nearby peak of Mount Kusatsu-Shirane is the source of this city's hot waters, which, local people claim can cure all form of pain except love pains. In the evening, relax in your overnight accommodation and refresh for the ride tomorrow.

Day 2 Kusatsu → Matsumoto → Tateshina → Nagano

Kusatsu → Matsumoto → Tateshina → Nagano

Today you will ride from Kusatsu through to Nagano. After some challenging curves, you will reach the city of Matsumoto. Tour members who are interested in doing so may take in Matsumoto castle - a symbol of the city, built in the 16th century and still one of Japan’s most beautiful original castles. Its main feature is its black wainscoting, which is responsible for the castle's nickname of “Crow Castle". After a marvellous ride on the beautiful Venus Line, you will reach your hotel on Mount Tateshina, in the prefecture of Nagano, famous site of the 1998 Winter Olympic Games.

Day 3 Nagano → Yatsugatake → Fuji → Nishi-Izu

Nagano → Yatsugatake → Fuji → Nishi-Izu

Today you will ride from Nagano through to Nishi-Izu. Start the day riding on the Yatsugatake Mountain range, all the way to the side of Mount Fuji. Here, you will have the opportunity to participate in and optional authentic ranch experience at Fuji Milkland. Continue riding to Numazu, a port city well known for its numerous hot springs and extremely large fish market, where fresh produce can be bought, and even eaten, on the spot, fresh off the boat. The day will end with a ride on the Nishi-Izu Skyline, one of the most popular riding roads in Japan, which will take you to an authentic seaside resort to experience the magic of having a hot spring bath while enjoying the view of the sea.

Day 4 Nishi-Izu → Amagi → Izu → Hakone

Nishi-Izu → Amagi → Izu → Hakone

Today you will ride from Nishi-Izu through to Hakone. The day will start with the riding experience of a lifetime on the Kawazu Loop Bridge, considered one of the most spectacular bridges in the world. You will then travel on your motorcycles to reach the Izu peninsula and its bright green wasabi fields. Here, riders who choose to do so may enjoy an optional authentic wasabi picking experience before continuing on the legendary Izu Skyline, a curvy dream ride of any biker. All along your travels on the Izu Skyline, you will ride under the watchful shadow of Japan's tallest peak and most recognized official symbol of the country: Mount Fuji. You will end your day relaxing in the hot spring water of Hakone area, one of the most popular hot spring resorts in Japan.

Day 5 Hakone → Oshino Hakkai → Hakone → Odaiba

Today you will ride from Hakone back to Yokohama. On the last day of your journey, you will visit the Owakudani Valley, riding on some of the best panoramic roads in the country, including the Ashinoko Skyline, alongside the beautiful Ahinoko Lake and the legendary Izu Skyline, a curvy dream ride of any biker. You will be visiting Oshino Hakkai, a small village located in the Fuji Five Lake region. Nearby there are eight ponds of extraordinarily clear water, fed by snow melting down from Mount Fuji, filtered for more than 80 years through porous layers of lava.  At the end of the day, return to the Yokohama shop to drop off your bike and head home, dreaming of your next Japan adventure!
