Experience the spirit of Hanami during one of Japan’s most magical seasons! Join us on this walking tour in Yanaka, a hidden area of Tokyo, known for its abundance of cherry blossoms and cute cat residence! This tour will explore Yanaka’s atmospheric backstreets, old neighbourhoods, temples and shrines. You’ll be able to try some local treats and beverages! Discover the artistic history of the district and finish up by participating in an authentic Japanese ‘Hanami’ (Cherry Blossom Viewing Part).
Our guide will help you learn about the history of the Yanaka area; the meaning behind the Sakura season; and show you some local specialties - that are bound to be pleasing to the senses! Enjoy a special Hanami-season Obento lunch, Homemade Onigiri (Rice Balls) and other local dishes!
The Cherry Blossom (Sakura) season is short… The Cherry Blossom's only bloom for only about two weeks. Please understand that it is impossible to predict, when the Cherry Blossoms will bloom each season. We have taken great consideration to select departure dates that coincide, on average, with previous year’s seasons.

Enjoy a 2.5 hour tour stroll through the backstreets of Yanaka, Tokyo. Try local snacks and sake (other beverages also available). Visit a renowned local art gallery and studio.
Experience a real Hanami (Cherry Blossom Viewing). There will be plenty of time to photograph the cherry blossom, and browse the local shops, along the way.
